Story summary: Before his death, an architect (Nematollah Gorji) entrusts his daughter Lida (Shaparak) and son Taher (Shahram) to an engineer (Abdollah Butimar). The engineer goes to Ahvaz and takes Lida with him to raise her alongside his son Shahram. Taher is raised by the locals. Years later, Shahram rapes Lida, and the engineer, thinking that Lida is a slut, throws her out of his house.
